Congratulations to Brick Hockey Club Alumni Bobby Acropolis on his recent induction into the NJ High School Hockey Hall of Fame.  Bobby spent his entire youth hockey career at BHC then went on to play at the Hotchkiss School in CT and then Division 1 Quinnipiac University.  In addition to playing at BHC Bobby is a Level 4 USA Hockey Coach and he spent several seasons behind the bench coaching BHC players at almost every level.  Most recently he coached a Squirt team that was NJYHL Champions of their division.  Congratulations on your induction Bobby, it's well deserved!

Congratulations to all of our players and coaches who participated in tournaments this past weekend!  Brick Hockey Club had an unbelievably successful weekend!  7 teams traveled to Washington, DC and Niagara, NY.  We had 5 teams make it to their respective championship games and another miss the championship game by 1 goal in a tiebreaker.

Our 16A Green and Bantam Minor teams both finished undefeated for the weekend and both brought home gold.  Our Bantam A team finish undefeated in round robin play and came up a little short in the finals. Our PWB team lost a heartbreaker in O/T in the championship game.  Our Squirt Green team finished undefeated in the round robin play and lost by 1 goal in the finals.  Our overall record for all tournament games was 17-5-1 (winning percentage of .740).

Congrats again to ALL of our players and coaches.  Such a strong finish at the end of the season is tangible proof that our model of development is working.

Special thanks to all you parents who puts their lives on hold, packed up and drove to DC and Niagara for your kids.  It's weekends like this that make it all worthwhile.
