Special Thanks to our Bantam B Family,

We would like to thank our Bantam B hockey family for all of their support.  In August 2016, one of our family members was diagnosed with Stage III A non-small cell lung cancer.  We decided to tell our team mom, Kathie Christie and Coach Woody because we didn't know how it would affect our player, Shandon.

Our hockey family has shown such compassion, kindness and generosity since that time it is truly unbelievable.  It was a tough journey going through chemo, radiation and surgery, but what made it so much easier is the support, well wishes and prayers our hockey family has given us at every game and every practice.  The team started a meal train where families signed up to bring us a meal at every practice and game.  The coaches and boys on the team showed their support holding up signs on Hockey Fights Cancer day and dedicated a game after surgery.  They pulled together to help us in our time of need and we cannot express our gratitude enough.  I know we could not have hand picked a better group of people.  We are so blessed to be a part of this phenomenal family.  When you can feel that people truly care about you, it makes such a positive impact on your life and that is what our hockey family has done.

Our sincere thanks to the best hockey family anyone could ever ask for!  We love you all.  Special thanks to Kathie Christie and Coach Woody.  Oh, one last thing, at Andrea's follow up with the surgeon and the oncologist she was told she is cancer free!

Love,
Lori, Andrea, Rudy & Shandon
